DeAndre Jordan, born on July 21, 1988, is an American professional basketball player who plays as a center. His basketball journey began in Houston, Texas, where he attended Episcopal High School. Jordan was a highly sought-after recruit out of high school, known for his athleticism and rebounding prowess. He committed to play college basketball at Texas A&M University, where he spent one season before declaring for the NBA Draft. During his single season with the Aggies, Jordan showed flashes of his potential, averaging 7.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.
