The NBA Finals series between the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder is heading to its close. It can be a done deal if the Thunder take care of business against the Pacers in Game 6. After all, they had an emphatic 120-109 win in Game 5.

The projections for the game have come down from late 220s to early 220s now. However, I see a high-scoring game here and would opt for the “Over” here. It makes sense considering the scoring potential from both squads.
Spread: Thunder -6.5 (-110 Straight)
The Thunder have been brilliant for two straight games. They won the last game by 11 points and Game 4 by 7 points. Meanwhile, their Game 2 triumph of 16 points has helped them clear the spread on 3/5 occasions.
They almost had a double-digit win in Game 1 before the Pacers’ miraculous comeback. Thus, the Thunder know how to defeat the opponent by a margin. Overall, I see them clearing the spread for the fourth time in five games.

The Thunder has won three out of the last four games in the series. The Pacers’ approach of making a big push in the second half has failed, as the Thunder has figured out the formula to beat them. Jalen Williams had 40 points in Game 5, and that has created a big headache for the Pacers apart from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who scores 30+ for fun.
Thus, going for an “Over” total and expecting the Thunder to clear the spread doesn’t seem too risky.
