Here are the NBA Results for Mar. 6, 2025, where we witnessed six matchups. Playoff seeding got affected on Friday, and we also saw some beautiful moments, like Grandma Kitty’s arrival for the Warriors’ game.

From Lakers’ season-best winning streak with a win in overtime to Coby White’s career-high performance for Bulls, let’s go through the key highlights from the NBA action on Friday.

Magic 123-125 Bulls

Coby White’s career-high 44 points helped the Chicago Bulls beat the Orlando Magic in a tight thriller. He scored a final nine points in the fourth quarter for Chicago, who snapped a two-game losing skid.

Josh Giddy dropped 19 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. Tre Jones added 20 points for the Bulls. Paolo Banchero and Cole Anthony each scored 20 points each for the Magic, who dropped five straight games.

Nets 119-121 Warriors

Stephen Curry scored 40 points and gifted a win to his biggest fan, Grandma Kitty, who arrived with her family to watch the Warriors’ game. Curry also made headlines for his mid-court buzzer-beater. Jimmy Butler chipped in with 25 points, and the Warriors overcame a 22-point deficit to win the game.

Cam Johnson led Brooklyn with 26 points, and Cam Thomas added 23. The Nets dropped their sixth straight game, and the Warriors won their 10th game in the Butler era.

Hawks 124-118 Pacers

Trae Young scored 22 points and 16 assists, and Atlanta Hawks overcame Indiana Pacers to open a two-game set. Onyeka Okongwu chipped in with 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Georges Niang had 24.

Atlanta also snapped a five-game losing streak against the Pacers, who played without two-time All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton. Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 35 points. Aaron Nesmith added 21 points. Andrew Nembhard had 15 points and 10 assists. The Hawks were 10 points behind the Pacers in the third quarter, but they came back in the fourth period with 28-24.

Celtics 123-105 76ers

Jayson Tatum highlighted a 35-point performance, including seven rebounds, and Boston squeezed past the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers. Celtics won their ninth game in the last 11. Payton Pritchard dropped 19 points while Derrick White added 12.

Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 27 points for the 76ers, and Lonnie Walker IV had 17. Philadelphia have lost twelve out of the last 13 and fell to 21-41.

Pelicans 97-109 Rockets

The second-half brilliance helped the Houston Rockets to beat the New Orleans Pelicans 109-97 in a two-game set. Amen Thompson scored 21 points and 11 rebounds. Alperen Sengun added 22 points, eight assists and three steals. Tari Eason chipped in with 21 points, and Houston halted a three-game skid.

Trey Murphy III led the Pelicans with 26 points while Zion Williamson added 20 points and 10 rebounds. Pelicans now fell to 17-46 and snapped a three-game winning streak at home.

Lakers 113-109 Knicks (OT)

Los Angeles Lakers extended their winning streak to season-best eight games with a win over New York Knicks in overtime. Luka Doncic scored 32 points, and LeBron James added 31 in the win. Lakers overcame a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter and beat the Knicks in overtime.

Lakers are 9-2 since Luka Doncic’s debut game. James also added 12 rebounds and eight assists and also reached third in all-time win list. Knicks also suffered a huge blow as Jalen Brunson left the game in overtime due to injury. He scored 39 points and 10 assists.
