Stephen Curry pulled off one of the wildest shots of his career.
The Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is known as the best three-point shooter in the league! Well, there is certainly no debate about it. Regarded for pulling off some of the most insane drops on court, Curry once again put his skills on display and had one of the wildest shots of his career. On Thursday, March 6, the Warriors recorded their third straight win as they took down the Nets 121-119.
During the game, Curry once again stole limelight with his ridiculous buzzer beater, leaving everyone in awe of him. In the closing seconds of the second quarter, the Warriors were trailing the Nets by eight points. Near the midcourt, Warriors’ newest signing Jimmy Butler passed on the ball to Curry, who was standing with his back facing the basket.
The 36-year-old quickly turned around and launched a deep three-pointer from the mid-court logo, despite having defenders in his face. The shot left the broadcasters as well as the crowd at the arena stunned and narrowed the gap as they headed into halftime 60-55 in the favor of the Nets.

Curry, who was seen interacting with super fan Grandma Kitty during the pregame routine, created another record in the game. The 11-time All-Star finished the night with 40 points, four rebounds and four assists. With this, he surpassed Reggie Theus (6,453) and John Lucas (6,454) for 31st most career assists in NBA history.
Moreover, he surpassed Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant for most 35+ point games at the age of over 35. He is only behind LeBron James on the list, who has 48 such games.
In addition, he now holds the 10th most 40-point games in the history of the league and the second most by a point guard. Despite playing 16 seasons, Curry is showing no signs of slowing down. In the last five games, he is averaging 34.8 points, 7.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game.
Coming back to the Nets’ clash, In the first nineteen minutes of the playing time, Curry already had 19 points, three rebounds and three assists with 7-of-12 shooting from the field and 4-of-7 three pointers. The newest Warrior in the town, Jimmy Butler recorded a solid 65-point partnership with Curry. He finished the night with 25 points, two rebounds and six assists and helped the side record their tenth win since his trade from the Heat.
Seeded sixth in the West with a 35-28 tally, the Warriors lock horns with the Pistons on Saturday, March 8.
