NBA Playoffs 2025 Knicks vs. Pistons Game 5 Injury Report: Which Players Have Been Listed On Injury Report Ahead of Game 5?

Gulshan Sharma

Let's figure out the key details from both teams' injury report and its impact on overall performances.

The New York Knicks will host the Detroit Pistons in the Game 5 to wrap up the first-round series and qualify for the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Pistons had a great story in the NBA this season and they also ended their longest losing streak in the playoffs but they failed to deliver in throughout the series.

With the first-round series stand at 3-1 in favor of New York, Detroit have to replicate the form of the regular season where they had a 3-1 record against the Knicks. A playoff berth since 2019 and a playoff win since 2008 are two major achievements for the Pistons. But, the fans want more this time and Detroit need a crucial victory to take this series to Game 6.

On the other hand, the Knicks have a strong chance to join the Cavaliers to qualify for the conference semifinals. The Celtics are also likely to join them soon. If New York win on Tuesday night, it will be their third straight entry into the second round of the NBA playoffs. However, they failed to cross the line in last two attempts.

Let’s figure out the key details from both teams’ injury report and its impact on overall performances.

Jaden Ivey remains out for the entire playoff series due to a recovery from a broken left fibula. He has started doing shooting drills and his status will be updated in another two weeks.
