76ers 102 Magic 94

Paul George added smiles on Philadelphia with 21 points and nine assists on his second game since injury. KJ Martin contributed 20 points to guide the Sixers to a third win out of four. Meanwhile, Orlando ended their 5-game road trip with 3-2 and the Sixers snapped a two-game losing streak at home.

Philadelphia had a 17-point advantage during the fourth quarter but Magic managed to cut it down to seven. George and KJ Martin made baskets to extend the lead to 13. Franz Wagner led Magic with a game-high 30 points, and Jalen Suggs added 22.

Hawks 134 Lakers 132

LeBron James and Anthony Davis scored combined 77 points but it wasn’t enough for the Lakers who fell short of 2 points in overtime. Trae Young scored a 3-pointer with 7.4 seconds left to guide Atlanta Hawks sixth straight win. Young finished with 31 points and 20 assists.

LeBron James finished with 39 points and scored his 6th triple-double of the season. The veteran guard had a chance to win, but his 3-pointer clanked off the rim. Anthony Davis added 38 but Lakers’ bench was outscored 65-17 by the Hawks. Hunter scored 26 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 20 off the bench for Atlanta.

Celtics 111 Bucks 105

Boston Celtics spoiled Khris Middelton’s season debut by handing a 111-105 loss to the Bucks. Jayson Tatum scored 34 points and 10 rebounds, and Jrue Holiday chipped in 20. Jaylon Brown, who was fined by the NBA for his gesture against Pistons, added 25 points.

Damian Lillard led the Bucks with 31 points while Antetokounmpo had 30 points and 11 rebounds on his birthday. Middleton added 11 points and five assists on his debut. Milwaukee dropped second straight game after having a 7-game winning run.

Spurs 113 Kings 140

Sacramento Kings dropped a season-high 140 points to route San Antonio Spurs, who allowed 100 points through three quarters for the second consecutive game. DeMar DeRozan finished with 23 points, while Domantas Sabonis had 22 points and 16 rebounds for Sacramento. De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk scored 22 points apiece for the Kings.

Julian Champagnie led Spurs with a career-high 30 points including six 3-pointers. Rookie Stephon Castle added 15 points, and Chris Paul chipped in 11 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds. Wembanyama-less Spurs dropped to 11-12 with three straight losses.

Bulls 123 Pacers 132

Indiana Pacers halted a four-game losing streak with a 9-point win over the Bulls. Tyrese Haliburton added 23 points and eight assists, while Pascal Siakam had 21 for Indiana. Bennedict Mathurin contributed 19 points and Myles Turner had 15. Obi Toppin and McConnell added 17 points apiece off the bench.

Josh Giddey’s layup cut the deficit to three points with 6:53 remaining in the game. However, an 8-0 run through Haliburton, who made five 3s, guided a win for Indiana. Zach LaVine paced Chicago with 32 points. Coby White added 19 points, and Ayo Dosunmu had 15.

Warriors 90 Timberwolves 107

Warriors ended their losing streak against Houston but they failed to carry the same against the Wolves. Anthony Edwards scored 30 points and nine assists to give Minnesota a win in the first of two games at Chase Center. Rudy Gobert added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolves.

Stephen Curry scored 23 points on his return who hit a 3-pointer with 10 seconds to play and cut the deficit to three. Draymond Green added 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists after recovering from a calf injury. Timberwolves added a fourth straight win at Chase Center and eye a sixth straight win over the Warriors on Sunday.

Trail Blazers 99 Jazz 141

Utah Jazz stopped a five-game slide with a win over the Trail Blazers. John Collins scored 20 points and Keyonte George added 17 in a 42-point blowout win. Walker Kessler added 13 points, and 17 rebounds while Jonny Juzang scored a game-high 22 points off the bench.

Jerami Grant led Portland with 19 points amid the injury blow of Toumani Camara. Jazz controlled the lead throughout the game and entered the fourth quarter with a 102-70 lead. Portland drew boos from the home fans and walked out with a third straight loss, conceding 135 points on average.
