How many points LeBron James scored tonight against Hawks? Full Stats

Gulshan Sharma

“I'm just happy to still be able to play the game that I love," LeBron said after the game.

LeBron James replicated another stunning show in the NBA to surprise his haters who told him to retire 72 hours ago. The Lakers guard lit up the arena by dropping his 6th triple-double of the season. However, the Lakers couldn’t cross the line in over-time as the Atlanta Hawks had the last laugh on Friday.

LeBron James’ game stats

  • Points: 39
  • Rebounds: 10
  • Assists: 11
  • Blocks: 3

LeBron James just upgraded his last game’s performance and it got better. He changed the narrative of all the critics who were high on him after his poor outing against the Wolves. LeBron scored 39 points, ten rebounds, 11 assists, and four turnovers, shooting 14-for-25 (56%).

LeBron scored his sixth triple-double of the season and was impressive on Friday night. The 39-year-old, who reached 41,000 career points tonight, was blocking number-one overall picks, and shooting one-legged threes.

“I’m just happy to still be able to play the game that I love,” LeBron said after the game. His 3-pointer helped the Lakers to take a lead over Atlanta but unfortunately, missed the game-winning shot in the end. Meanwhile, LeBron James proved why he is one of the greatest NBA players of all-time.

Trae Young spoils the brilliance of LeBron James

It was a cracking contest between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks as it went into overtime. Trae Young scored a 3-pointer with 7.4 seconds left in overtime and the Hawks handed a 134-132 heartbreaking loss to the Lakers.

Trae Young, who scored 31 points and 20 assists, overshadowed the combined 77-point contribution from LeBron James and Anthony Davis. With the seventh defeat in nine games, the Lakers fell to 12-11.

Los Angeles have managed only two wins in the last 15 days but tonight’s performance was better as they entered after the combined 70-point debacle against the Timberwolves and the Heat. Anthony Davis also improved from his slump in Florida, adding 38 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers.

Atlanta Hawks’ bench outscored Lakers 65-17 as Hunter chipped in 26 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 20. Jalen Johnson scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds while Onyeka Okogwu chipped in 15 off the bench.
