NBA All-Star voting 2025: Top 10 vote-getters after third fan vote returns

The starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be disclosed on January 23.  

The third fan vote returns for the NBA All-Star Game 2025 was released on Thursday, January 16. The charts showed Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo continuing their top-spot run. The voting for the All-Star Game which began on December 19 will come to an end on January 20, while the starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be disclosed on January 23.  

As per the third and the final returns, Jokic and Antetokounmpo continued their dominance on the standings. While Antetokounmpo leads the Eastern Conference with 3,489,956 votes, Jokic sits atop the Western Conference with 2,924,436 votes.

On the other hand, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (West guard) and the Charlotte Hornets’ LaMelo Ball (East guard) are on the top of the backcourt standings with 2.41 million votes and 1.91 million votes, respectively.

Fans account for 50 percent of the votes, while the remaining 50 percent votes split between a media panel and current NBA players. It is then followed by the 30 NBA coaches picking the reserves, which will be revealed on January 30. 

Jokic and Antetokounmpo, who have been the NBA’s Most Valuable Players for five out of the last six times, sit atop with 2,924,436 votes and 3,489,956 votes. LeBron James and Jayson Tatum occupy second positions in the Western and Eastern Conferences with 2,591,287 and 2,842,956 votes, respectively.

The Lakers’ icon, who occupied fifth position after the second fan vote returns moved up a spot, while Charlotte Hornets’ LaMelo Ball replaced Anthony Davis with a total of 1,908,967 votes.

2025 NBA All-Star Game

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game starters will be announced on Thursday, January 23 during TNT’s NBA Tip-Off. The 30 NBA head coaches will select the reserves which will be announced on Thursday, January 30.

Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith will draft three teams for the NBA All-Star Game’s mini-tournament on Thursday, February 6. These teams along with the winning team from the NBA’s Rising Stars Game will contest in two semifinals on Friday, February 14. The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, February 16 at the Chase Center, San Francisco.
