The second fan vote returns for the NBA 2025 All-Star Game was released on Thursday, January 9. Voting for the All-Star Game officially began on December 19 and will continue through January 20, with the final returns to be announced on January 16. The starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be revealed on Thursday, January 23.
The fan voting has accounted for 50 percent of the vote to pick the All-Star starters, with the remaining 50 percent split between current NBA players and a media panel. The 30 NBA head coaches will then pick the reserves, which will be announced on January 30.
The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is set to take place on Sunday, February 16, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, the home of the Golden State Warriors.
Just like the first fan voting return last week, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic continue to lead in their respective conferences. Giannis is currently the overall leader, with a total of 2,721,339 votes, leading the Eastern Conference. On the Western Conference side, Jokic leads with 2,277,723 votes.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will have a new format. The game will feature a mini-tournament style with four teams competing in three games. The Non-Rising Stars Teams will be drafted by TNT’s Inside the NBA commentators, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith Draft.
The fourth team will come from the winning team of the Castrol Rising Stars Game. The two semifinal games will be played to 40 points, and the winners will face off in the championship game on February 16, at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
