Bradley Beal is averaging 17.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game this season
Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal hasn’t made any progress in waiving his no-trade clause. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst provided an important update on the NBA trade saga that Mark Bartelstein, Beal’s agent, told him that they have not taken part in any discussions about waiving no-trade clause.
Windhorst was speaking on ‘Get Up’ and the NBA insider revealed the matter amid trade rumors linking the franchise to Miami Heat star, Jimmy Butler. Phoenix Suns have been linked to Jimmy Butler and they have no other option to acquire the Miami star without adding Bradley Beal.

Mark Bartelstein gave a blunt answer on Beal’s involvement in signing Butler and he said, no to all rumours. “Bradley’s total focus is on helping the Suns turn things around,” Bartelstein said to NBA insider.
Windhorst said, “His agent Mark Bartlestein told me there’s been no discussion either with the Suns or any other team about Bradley Beal waiving his no-trade clause. The reason that’s become an issue over the last couple of days, the Heat said they were going to trade Jimmy Butler.”

Brian Windhorst added more theories on this topic and believed that idea of waving no-trade clause caught fire since Miami suspended Jimmy Butler and showed interest to get offers for their player. Bradley Beal, who is in second year of his contract, wants to stay with Phenix Suns and help them to turn things around this season.
“The Suns are known to be interested. The only way to get him is to move Bradley Beal, which would take Beal’s cooperation. Right now that is not even a consideration according to Mark Bartlestein. He’s just focused on helping the Suns turn things around,” Windhorst said during the talk on ‘Get Up.’
Bradley Beal is only the second player in current season with a no-trade clause and he has the authority to control where he wants to go next. This clause doesn’t give the chance of negotiation.

Before the claims of Beal’s agent, reports stated that the Suns guard is planning to waive his no-trade clause for three major teams, the Lakers, Clippers, and the Nuggets. All trade stories got a fire when Beal was not part of the starting lineup against the 76ers and the 4-time NA All-Star came as the reserved player for the first time in nine years.
