Before the Club World Cup Final, the French champions had conceded only one goal throughout the tournament.

Cole Palmer produced a masterclass to guide Chelsea to a dominant 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 Club World Cup final. Palmer struck twice in the first half and assisted a brilliant third for Joao Pedro as Enzo Maresca’s side stunned the European champions to lift the coveted trophy.

PSG, who had been lauded by Maresca pre-match as “the best in the world,” struggled to recover thereafter. PSG’s frustrations peaked late on as Joao Neves was sent off for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair following a VAR review.
