Lyra Valkyria just cost Bayley the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match

Lyra Valkyria dented her relation with Bayley by costing the former a match.

Bayley would have featured at WrestleMania if it weren’t for Becky Lynch. She attacked her and took her place by Lyra Valkyria’s side to become the Women’s World Tag Team champion. Their Championship Reign lasted just one day, though, as they lost their titles to the former owners. Not only that, but Becky turned on Lyra Valkyria, and they featured in two matches against each other.

Becky one last one to became the WWE Women’s Intercontinental champion, but her happiness was dented when Bayley returned to assault her. They brawled, and it was announced that Becky Lynch would defend her title against Bayley on Monday Night Raw. Lyra Valkyria confronted Bayley about the title match and seemed unhappy that she didn’t get the first title shot.

Lyra Valkyria apologized to Bayley tonight, and it seemed that the issue between them was resolved. Bayley also promised Lyra that if she wins the title, Lyra would be the first in line for the title shot.

Outsider’s Help, A Two-way Sword in WWE

Lyra Valkyria not only cost Bayley the Championship match, but she might have dented their friendship as well. Bayley was owning Becky Lynch from the word go. She had the upper hand on Becky Lynch for most of the match. Bayley delivered Becky’s very own Manhandle Slam to her, but the latter rolled out of the ring to escape the pin attempt.

Bayley lost her firm grasp on the match when she rolled out of the ring to get Becky inside the ring, but the latter threw her over the announcer’s table and then buried her under the chair and tried to score a victory via countout. Lyra Valkyria entered the ring and tried to help Bayley out of the rubble to break the countout. Becky attacked Lyra and asked her to retaliate to get a victory via disqualification.

Bayley then continued her assault on Becky Lynch, throwing her here and there like a ragdoll. Becky made one final attempt and kicked Lyra Valkyria, and the latter took the bait this time. She attacked Becky Lynch, which forced the referee to disqualify the match and announce Becky as the winner. Lyra Valyria and Bayley were seen having a verbal disagreement inside the ring while Becky looked at them and laughed.
