Frimpong is being a key part of Xabi Alonso’s success with Leverkusen. With their managers departure confirmed, the Dutch right-back could also part ways with the German club is summer. According to a report from CaughtOffside, Liverpool have advanced the talks to sign Leverkusen from Bayern Leverkusen. The Reds have made substantial progress in negotiations with Leverkusen as Frimpong has emerged as a top priority target.
