Lakers vs. Jazz: Team News and Injury Report

The Los Angeles Lakers (9-4) are set to host the Utah Jazz (3-10) at Crypto.comArena on Tuesday, November 19. The Lakers are looking to extend their five-game winning streak, while the last-seeded Jazz aim to bounce back from their recent losses.

The Lakers enter this game on the back of a comfortable win over New Orleans Pelicans. Meanwhile, Jazz, after two back-to-back wins, went back to their losing ways, registering defeats against Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers.

Ahead of the Western Conference NBA clash, let’s take a look at the team news and predicted lineups for both teams.

Lakers Team News and Predicted Lineup

The Lakers have been impressive this season under their new coach JJ Redick, boasting a 9-4 record and currently sitting third in the Western Conference. They have been led by Anthony Davis, who is averaging 31.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. LeBron James continues to break records, contributing 23.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game.

However, the hosts have few injury concerns heading into this game. Jalen Hood-Schifino is out with a hamstring injury, Jarred Vanderbilt is also sidelined due to a foot injury.

Laker’s leading scorer Anthony Davis is listed as probable despite a foot issue, while rookie Bronny James is doubtful due to a bruised left heel.

Rui Hachimura is questionable with an ankle injury.

Predicted Starting 5: LeBron James, Delton Knecht, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, Max Christie

Jazz Team News and Predicted Lineup

The Jazz have struggled this season, holding a 3-10 record and currently sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference. Lauri Markkanen has been the only silver lining for them, averaging 17.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Talking about the injury status, Jazz will be without Walker Kessler, who is out with a hip injury, and Taylor Hendricks, who remains sidelined after undergoing surgery for a broken right leg and dislocated ankle.

Predicted Starting 5: Lauri Markkanen, Kyle Flipowski, John Collins, Keyonte George, Collin Sexton.
