Pistons 112 Bulls 122

A 79-point combined performance by Zach Lavine, Coby White, and Nikola Vucevic led the Chicago Bulls to overcome the Pistons 112-122. Bulls improved to 6-9 in the season despite a late fightback from the Pistons. This is also the eighth time in NBA history that three starters have recorded 25+ points with 5+ 3PM in one game. Cade Cunningham paced Detroit with 26 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Malik Beasley added 21 while Jalen Duren had 22 rebounds in the loss. An 11-point lead in the first quarter proved costly and the Pistons didn’t recover to halt their 2-game winning streak.

Heat 106 76ers 89

Philadelphia 76ers dropped a 19-point lead to face a 106-89 defeat to the Miami Heat, who starts their three-game homestand with a win. With a fourth straight defeat, the Sixers fell to 2-11 and tied with the Wizards for the worst record in the NBA this season. Miami dropped 35-16 in the third quarter to regain the momentum and the 76ers couldn’t recover. Joel Embiid had a disaster show, not attempting a single free throw for the first time since 2018. Jimmy Butler scored 32 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat while Tyler Herro had 18 points including a crucial 16 in the third quarter. Jared McCain paced the Sixers with 20 points while Paul George had 18 points on 5-for-13 shooting.

Knicks 134 Wizards 106

New York Knicks extended their winning streak to three games as they routed Washington Wizards 134-106 on Monday night. Knicks had a 73-54 lead at the half-break and reached to 109-75 heading to the final quarter. A 10-point run helped Wizards to reduce the deficit in the fourth quarter. Jalen Brunson scored 26 points and Karl-Anthony Towns highlighted a 24-point performance with12 rebounds. The Knicks set a season-high scoring to post 3-1 in their first homestand of the season. Bub Carrington, Corey Kispert, and Jonas Valanciunas scored 18 points apiece for the Wizards in the loss. Washington dropped to 2-11 and tied with the Sixers for a worst start in NBA this season.

Raptors 130 Pacers 119

RJ Barrett racked up a season-best 39 points to help Raptors end their 7-game losing streak in NBA. Jakob Poeltl contributed 30 points and 15 rebounds to overcome the visiting Indiana Pacers. Toronto maintained their double-digit for most of the first half to reach 69-57 at break. Pacers conceded 17-point lead during the third quarter and eventually, failed to recover. Bennedict Mathurin chipped in 28 points for the Pacers while Pascal Siakam fought hard with a 25-point performance including 10 rebounds. Pacers fell to 6-8 after starting the three-game road trip with a defeat.

Bucks 101 Rockets 100

Damian Lillard’s decisive basket guided Milwaukee Bucks to a one-point victory over Houston Rockets. It also snapped Rockets’ five-game winning streak. Houston pulled off a comeback story in the final quarter to cover the 14-point deficit. Houston’s Alperen Sengun’s shot was blocked by Giannis Antetokounmpo with 20 seconds left. Brook Lopez scored 27 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks for the Bucks. Antetokounmpo chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds. Houston was led by VanVleet who added 26 points. Jalen Green had 21 and Sengun poured in 18 points for the Rockets. Bucks extended their home streak to 3 games and also starts 4-game homestand with a win.

Suns 99 Magic 109

Injury-hit Phoenix Suns dropped fourth straight game and fifth in last six to fell 9-6. Phoenix are 1-5 since Kevin Durant’s injury after starting the season 8-1. Franz Wagner scored 32 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds for Orlando Magic. Anthony Black had 20 points off the bench while Goga Bitadze posted a double-double with 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting and 10 rebounds. Orlando had a momentum from the first quarter and they head to break owning a 64-48 lead. Devin Booker failed to replicate last game’s heroics and managed 17 points. Tyus Jones paced the Suns with 18 points and Grayson Allen scored 17 points off the bench.

Kings 108 Hawks 109

Atlanta held the nerves in final quarter to claim a 108-109 win over Sacramento Kings. The Kings had a 4-point advantage going into the last quarter but Atlanta rallied on a 10-2 run to take 5-point lead with 3:21 left. Ellis made two free throws with 49.4 seconds left to add more drama and later, Dyson Daniels knocked the ball away from Fox just prior to the buzzer. Keon Ellis scored a career high 33 points and nine 3-pointers for the Kings. Trey Lyles had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Zaccharie Risacher hit 18 points for the Hawks. Clint Capela chipped in 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Daniels had 14 points, and eight rebounds. Atlanta are 1-1 in their 4-game road trip and the Kings end their 4-game homestand with 2-2.

Clippers 102 Warriors 99

Los Angeles Clippers maintained their home streak with a 102-99 win over Warriors, thanks to 23-point performance from Norman Powell, who chipped in 15 points in first half. James Harden added 12 points and 16 assists for the Clippers. Steph Curry paced Warriors with 26 points and Andrew Wiggins added 22. Clippers had 56-45 lead at half-break and Warriors made a comeback with dropping 27-19 in third. Gary Payton II grabbed an opportunity with 21 seconds to play but Curry missed a vital three-pointer. Payton attempted another three but the shot fell short. LA Clippers improved to 8-7 with five straight home wins and secured second win over Golden State this season.
