La Liga 2025-26 Top 4 Finish Odds and Predictions: Latest Betting Insights on the Favourites

Abhinav Goel

Analyzing the Latest Odds and Expert Predictions for the upcoming 2025-26 La Liga Top 4 Race

The 2025/26 La Liga season looks set to deliver another gripping race for the Champions League spots. As expected, Real Madrid, with Xabi Alonso at the helm after Carlo Ancelotti’s departure to Brazil, remain heavy favourites to secure a top-four finish.

Barcelona, fresh from their domestic treble under Hansi Flick, look equally unshakable in the top-four conversation. The Catalan giants, led by Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha, outscored every team last term with 102 league goals and embarrassed Madrid in El Clasico clashes. They are expected to continue challenging strongly for top honours in the Spanish top flight.

Atletico Madrid might not be as dominant as the top two, but Diego Simeone’s side remains a formidable force in the La Liga. They have a strong defensive setup under Diego Simeone and have enough experience in their squad to secure Champions League football once again.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid look nailed on to finish in the top four places in the La Liga 2025/26. The battle for the fourth position will be very competitive between the likes of Athletic Bilbao, Villarreal and Real Betis. Bilbao impressed last season as they securing fourth spot with a resilient campaign under Ernesto Valverde. They’ve been priced at +170 and will be looking to repeat the same feat once again.

Villarreal (+210) came back stongly to finish in fifth-place and they will be confident of a return to the Champions League, especially with their attacking threats still intact. Meanwhile, Real Betis (+270) hung around the UCL race for much of last season but ultimately fell into the Europa League positions. They remain a dangerous and technically gifted side capable of challenging for the top four, especially if they strengthen their attack this summer.

Celta Vigo (+950), Girona (+1400) and Real Sociedad (+700) all offer interesting outside value. Sociedad struggled for consistency last term but have the squad quality to punch above their odds if they can rediscover form.

La Liga Prediction: Top 4 Finish

Villarreal, Real Betis, and Celta Vigo could offer the most value outside of the obvious trio of Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid. The race for the fourth positions look wide open. Villarreal’s squad depth and European pedigree gives them the edge in the top four race. With Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe extending his contract for two years, Villarreal’s attack looks set for next season. Pepe had a decent 2024-2025 season and finished the campaign with 3 goals and 6 assists. He will be looking to improve his tally this time aroud.

Predicted Top 4:

  1. Real Madrid
  2. Barcelona
  3. Atletico Madrid
  4. Villarreal
