Some rivalries in sports burn so hot they seem impossible to cool down. In MMA, few feuds have ever reached the intensity of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor. Their bad blood didn’t start with trash talk or social media posts, it exploded into public view in April 2018 when McGregor threw a dolly through a bus window at Barclays Center, trying to get at Khabib after the Dagestani fighter had confronted McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov backstage.

The whole mess spiraled from there, with McGregor facing assault charges and multiple UFC events getting disrupted.
