Juanyeh Thomas Injury Update: Cowboys defensive back carted off the field after a serious knee injury against Giants

Ashish Negi

Juanyeh Thomas carted off the field owing to knee injury during the Thursday's game against Giants.

The Dallas Cowboy’s injury concerns are not getting resolved this season and Juanyeh Thomas is the fresh name added to it. The defensive back suffered a potential season-ending injury during the Cowboys’ game against the New York Giants.

Thomas was covering a kickoff during which he was blocked to the ground. It was nothing new in the NFL however the core special team player could not put weight on his right leg while trying to get up.

Thomas had to leave the field and was carted off to the X-ray room. The Cowboys have now listed him as questionable to return with a right knee injury. This comes as a body blow for the Cowboys who are already riddled with injuries.

Can the Cowboys qualify for the postseason?

Mathematically yes, there is a chance. But given the state of affairs and the troubles they have, it seems like an impossible task. With 4 games remaining for them, the Cowboys will have to win almost every game.

It will be much suited for the Cowboys to build some winning momentum from here for the next season as their hopes and dreams of reaching the playoffs this season are almost done and dusted.
