Josh Allen Closes Gap on Patrick Mahomes as Super Bowl LX Odds Flip After Week 9 Win

Eric Divakaran

Week 9’s Sunday game featured arguably the most hyped game, featuring the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs, in a rematch of the AFC Championship of the 2024-25 season, where the Chiefs beat the Bills. This time, the Bills crushed the Chiefs 28-21 at Highmark Stadium, and Josh Allen dominated with a passing TD and two rushing scores, outplaying Patrick Mahomes. James Cook gashed for 114 yards, along with Dalton Kincaid’s 101 receiving yards.

Buffalo built a 21-13 halftime lead and never trailed after the first quarter. Rookie Maxwell Hairston sealed it with a fourth-quarter pick on Mahomes and the win, Buffalo’s fifth straight regular-season victory over KC, pushes the Bills to 6-2 and hands the Chiefs their fourth loss, flipping AFC seeding odds and Super Bowl odds overnight.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
