Eric Divakaran

The Jones family, who are known for their on field and cage dominance, suffered a devastating loss this October when Arthur Jones III, the eldest brother of UFC legend Jon Jones, passed away at 39. A Super Bowl XLVII champion with the Baltimore Ravens, Arthur retired at 31 after a seven-year NFL career as a formidable defensive tackle, accumulating 104 tackles and 9.5 sacks.

Jon, the youngest at 38, holds two-division UFC titles and is regarded as one of, if not, the greatest ever inside the octagon. Arthur’s death on October 3 at his Pompey, N.Y., home, amid reports of a defibrillator alert, left the sporting world reeling, which promoted an outpouring of tributes to his gentle giant persona off the field.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
