In this battle between the young powerhouses, Brazilian teen sensation Joao Fonseca takes on Zizou Bergs of Belgium in the 2025 Eastbourne Open Round of 32. It will be their first meeting, and an exciting one at that. The winner will face top seed and defending champion Taylor Fritz in the Round of 16.

18-year-old Joao Fonseca won his maiden tour-level title at the Argentina Open in February. The Rio-born prodigy plays an eccentric brand of tennis, filled with powerful strokes and unexpected winners.
