The 2025 WNBA semi-finals are getting super intense now. After losing the second game and tying the series 1-1, the Indiana Fever are now set to host their rivals in Game 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Friday. The sixth-seeded Fever kicked off the series with a remarkable 89-73 win over the second-seeded Aces in Game 1.
While they were hoping to continue that momentum, the hosts pulled off a stunning 90-68 win over the Fever on the back of A’ja Wilson’s 25 points and nine rebounds. The series is now tied 1-1.
As action shifts to Indiana’s home, Kelsey Mitchell and Co. would aim to maximize their home-court advantage and secure back-to-back wins to wrap up the series.

The Indiana Fever were one of the least favorite teams to finish in top eight, let alone clinch a semifinal berth. However, they stunned the WNBA world by defeating the Atlanta Dream 2-1 to earn a top-four qualification after over a decade. They finished the regular season with a 24-20 record and scored 84.9 points per game, holding rivals to 81.5 points per game.
In the first game of the series, they stunned everyone with a stunning performance, powered by Kelsey Mitchell’s 34 points. However, in Game 2, they fell cold and were held to only 35% of 3pt FGs to suffer a 90-68 defeat.
Here are a few stats about them:
Lexie Hull, Natasha Howard, Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Odyssey Sims
Key Bench Players: Shey Peddy, Aerial Powers, Brianna Turner
Injuries: Damiris Dantas- OUT (Concussion)
Caitlin Clark- OUT (Right Groin)
Chloe Bibby- OUT (Left Knee)
Sydney Colson- OUT (Left Knee)
Sophie Cunningham- OUT (Right Knee)
Aari McDonald- OUT (Right Foot)
The Las Vegas Aces rolled through the regular season with a stellar 30-14 record. They ended the season on a crazy 16-game winning streak, and in the round 1 of the playoffs, they defeated the Seattle Storm 2-1. Throughout their regular season campaign, A’ja Wilson and Co. scored 83.6 points per game while holding foes to 80.7 points.
Here are a few stats about them:
Kierstan Bell, A’ja Wilson, NaLyssa Smith, Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray
Key Bench Players: Jewell Loyd, Dana Evans
Injuries: None.
The Las Vegas Aces enter Game 3 as favorites to win at -4 spread and -192 moneyline. Even if the Aces are in lead, they can expect a tough challenge from the Fever. Similar to the previous gameplay, one can expect it to be a low-scoring affair, where defense will shine again.
Here is an overview of my picks:
| Picks | Odds on FanDuel |
| Total U 162.5 | -112 |
| Spread: Aces -4 | -114 |
| A’ja Wilson O 25.5 Points | -114 |
| Moneyline: Aces | -192 |
A’ja Wilson O 25.5 Points: Wilson, who is leading the league with an average of 25.8 ppg this postseason, scored 25 or more points thrice in the last five games. She is expected to display the same control over the ball and score over in Game 3.
Kelsey Mitchell O 20.5 Points: Mitchell is averaging 23.4 ppg in the playoffs. While she was limited to 13 points in Game 2, the star guard has scored over 20 points thrice in the last five games. With the home crowd roaring in Game 3, she is expected to heat up against the Aces and score over.
Aliyah Boston U 9.5 Rebounds: Aliyah Boston who averaged 8.2 rebounds per game during the regular season, is currently maintaining an average of 10.6 rebounds per game. She has crossed this mark four times in the last five games, and expect her to battle hard for boards at home.
Lexie Hull U 1.5 Made Threes: In Game 2, Lexie Hull tied the Fever franchise record for three-pointers made in a playoff game. She finished the game with five threes, and has had at least one 3pm in all games of the playoffs. However, the Aces would limit her at home.
Main Pick: A’ja Wilson O 25.5 Points for -114 on FanDuel
The Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces locked horns with each other in two regular season games, where the former emerged victorious in two of them. They also kicked off the semifinals series with a stunning 89-73 win. Though they slumped in Game 2, the Fever have skills and capabilities to flip script on their upper-seeded rivals.
However, the Aces shine bright with A’ja Wilson at the helm. We can expect it to be a nail-biter where Stephanie White’s team would want to make the most of their homecourt advantage, but the Aces would edge.
Spread/ Moneyline Pick: Las Vegas Aces -4 at for -192 at FanDuel
The Aces are favorites to emerge on top by 4 points in Game 3 against the Fever.
Total points for Game 3 is set at 162.5 points.
The moneyline is set at the Fever at +154 and the Aces at -192.
