The Indiana Fever will host the Connecticut Sun at Grainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Friday, May 30. Playing their second game without an injured Caitlin Clark, the Fever will enter the fixture on the back of an 83-77 defeat by the hands of the Washington Mystics. Following the defeat, they are now 2-3 in the season, grabbing the ninth spot in the standings.

On the other hand, the Connecticut Sun are one of the two teams, alongside the Chicago Sky, who are still looking for their first win of the season. In their five fixtures of the season thus far, the Sun have faced defeats from the Mystics, Aces, Lynx, Dream, and Wings.

Since the Fever won’t be without their superstar Caitlin Clark due to the left quadriceps strain, the Sun hold the perfect opportunity to finally open their victory account for the season. The Fever, on the other hand, are expected to overcome their shortcomings from the previous game. Moreover, they also hold the home-court advantage, adding to the challenges of their rivals.

Indiana Fever will be without Clark as they host the Connecticut Sun on an exciting Friday evening. Clark sustained a left quadriceps injury during the loss against the New York Liberty. She will undergo re-evaluation after two weeks, and a decision regarding her availability will be taken on the basis of the examination.
