The Indiana Fever will visit State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia as they clash against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday, May 22. This will be the rematch following their previous meeting on Tuesday, May 20, where Fever hosted the Dream at Grainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis. The game saw the visitors clinching a narrow 91-90 win over the hosts and are now 1-1 in the ongoing season. 

Not only this, but the loss also put Fever 1-1 on their tally for the 2025 season. The game saw Briitney Griner leading the Dream with 21 points, eight rebounds and two assists, while Rhyne Howard came up with 20 points, two rebounds, and three assists. Brionna Jones dropped 19 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists, while Alisha Gray came up with 16 points, two rebounds, and six assists. 

On the Fever’s side, Caitlin Clark dropped leading 27 points, five rebounds, and eleven assists. Apart from her, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell came up with 24 points apiece. While Boston recorded 10 rebounds and four assists, Mitchell had two assists. In the forthcoming game, the Dream would aim to continue their dominance over their rivals, while the Clark-led side would want to steal home-court advantage from their hosts and make a comeback.

According to Winsidr.com’s Matt Cohen, the Dream will be out Jordin Canada, who suffered a knee injury on May 9. Canada was expected to undergo a re-evaluation in two weeks and her availability in upcoming games would be updated following the re-examination.

The Fever have listed Sophie Cunningham on the injury report for their Thursday-night clash against the Atlanta Dream. Cunningham’s status has been updated to questionable and final call on her availability would be taken just before the game.
