Her take is a hilarious one. Recently, Kelsey Plum said, “My dad always taught me that they’re free, so anything free is a good time.” Kelsey Plum in the new WNBA season maintained her signature smile while on the court.

Kelsey also shared a glimpse into her pre-game mindset as she takes on her new role with the Los Angeles Sparks: “Energy is infectious. You can’t always control if you make shots, but you definitely can control your energy.”

The 30-year-old uses visualization to prepare mentally before the start. The positive psychology technique is quite popular among players, and Kelsey Plum uses at least 5 to 10 mins soaking in the positive energy before the getting into her on-court action.

“I’m hungry, and I’m just looking forward to this new chapter. I’ve never had that opportunity to have that full leadership role, so walking into it with that mentality, I’m very excited,” she said on her Los Angeles Sparks career. She transferred from the Las Vegas Aces to the Sparks this season.
