WNBA star celebrates Pacers’ wild overtime win with a viral social media moment

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark reacted to the Pacers’ phenomenal victory against the New York Knicks on Wednesday. The Indiana Pacers put up a clutch display to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. Caitlin Clark was quick to note and shared her thoughts.

The reigning Rookie of the Year took to the platform X and wrote, “PACERS ARE THE GREATEST COMEBACK TEAM I’VE EVER SEEN.” Her writing in CAPS tells a story of how excited and proud she has been with the victory.

The Indiana Pacers were struggling a little in the fourth quarter, but they quickly reduced their double-digit deficit. Within minutes, the game took a different turn and the Madison Square Garden turned into silence. Tyrese Haliburton’s clutch on the line two pointers leveled the game at the buzzer.

This took the Knicks vs. Pacers fixture into Overtime. The Indiana Pacers, who came into it with a strong momentum, led the charge and gathered a 135-138 win. Jalen Brunson, who was the top scorer in the game with 43 points, saw his efforts go in vain. Tyrese Haliburton was the top scorer for his side with 31 points.

Caitlin Clark Eyes Revenge After Fever Collapse

Indiana Fever, who coasted the first weekend with a dominating win against the Chicago Sky, saw themselves in the opposite direction on Tuesday. They lost the game against the Atlanta Dream in the dying seconds of the game.

Fever players weren’t happy with the efforts and were frustrated in the locker room. Caitlin Clark was a vocal voice within the Fever after Tuesday’s performance. Though, the 23-year-old did her best to get her side a win, but her game high 27 points were not enough.

She will now be hungrier to take on the same Atlanta Dream in the reverse fixture on Thursday. Expectations will also be high from the bench players who went missing on Tuesday. The trio of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston already has been under immense pressure to bail the team.
