Jaqueline Cristian won the 125K title in Mexico and reached the WTA final in Rabat. She came back from a set down to beat Bejlek in second round and dispatched Birrell in opening round. She is having the best run on the Persian clay. Despite her best run of form, Cristian faces a heavy task of overcoming the four-time Roland Garros champion.
This is the first time when Iga Swiatek takes on Jaqueline Cristian. It’s already a big matchup for Christian as she faces the defending champions and former world No. 1 player.

Iga Swiatek has posted a 18-3 clay court this year and winning the Roland Garros titles in last three attempts, she proved why she is the biggest clay-court player in current time. Christian has a mammoth task to break the fortress of Swiatek, who hasn’t dropped a French Open match since 2022. Iga has struggled to carry her winning momentum this year by not playing a WTA final but it should be an easy matchup for the world No. 6.
Prediction: Swiatek to win in straight sets.
