Contract signing for the WWE Undisputed Championship turned chaotic when Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes met inside the ring. What was expected to be a normal contract signing for their match at Wrestlepalooza grew into a verbal assault that soon turned physical. Cody Rhodes was left floored when SmackDown called the curtains tonight.

Cody Rhodes started an assault on Drew McIntyre, calling him a Keyboard warrior while taking a dig at his habit of taking pics for social media during his match. Drew McIntyre didn’t hold back as he called him a corporate champion who only thinks about the profit of the company. The verbal assault stopped when Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre signed the contract.

Drew McIntyre Had The Last Laugh, Gains the Upper Hand on Cody Rhodes

Drew McIntyre made sure he stole the momentum before he faces Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship at Wrestlepalooza. He delivered a Glasgow Kiss to Cody Rhodes and started assaulting him outside. He was about to give Cody Rhodes deja vu by sending him through the table with a Claymore, but he stopped.

Drew McIntyre threatened Cody Rhodes, stating, “I am taking the one thing that means the most to you,” signaling towards the WWE Undisputed Championship. Drew McIntyre was leaving the arena when Cody Rhodes performed a Suicide Dive on him, and the brawl between them broke outside the ring. The officials tried to stop them from ripping each other apart, but couldn’t.

Drew McIntyre got the opportunity and delivered a big boot to Cody Rhodes, and he followed it up with a stomp on his head. He made sure he gains the upper hand going into the Wrestlepalooza match. He will now face Cody Rhodes tonight for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
