The Golden State Warriors’ disappointing form continues as they dropped a crucial game against one of the league’s worst, Toronto Raptors 104-101 on Monday night. With four defeats in last five games, the Warriors fell below .500 for the first time this NBA season.

The Raptors were nine points behind after a 3-pointer by Lindy Waters III with 9:27 left, but Golden State allowed Toronto to take control of the game. Boucher scored 17 of his 18 points in the final quarter to hand over a second straight loss to the Warriors.

Ochai Agbaji scored two late baskets in the fourth quarter with 39.8 seconds to play. Buddy Hield had a chance to take the game into overtime but missed a deep three-pointer at the buzzer. Toronto hit 12 three-pointers in the game and shot 47.7 per cent from the field.

After making a solid 12-3 start to the season, the Golden State Warriors dropped 17 games out of 24. It was also the 24th instance for the team, when the score was within five points in the final five minutes. Stephen Curry scored 26 points, and Andrew Wiggins, who played his first game at Scotiabank Arena since 2018, finished with 20 points.

Curry surpassed Allen Iverson (24,368) on the NBA’s all-time scoring list after hitting a 3-pointer with 4:22 remaining in the fourth quarter. The four-time NBA Champion also eclipsed Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on the NBA’s all-time assist list, dishing out dime No. 6,308 of his career.

Apart from the milestone, the 36-year-old point guard missed a 3-pointer with 45 seconds left. It would have given a decisive lead to the Warriors, who were surprised by Agbaji with a fast-break dunk.
