Hawks vs Warriors: Will Stephen Curry Play Tonight?

Golden State Warriors (41-29) will start their six-game road trip of the regular season with an opening clash against the Atlanta Hawks (33-36). With 12 more games to go, the Warriors are high on confidence in pursuit of the NBA Play-In Tournament.

Golden State survived a scar against the Raptors with a 117-114 win after Stephen Curry’s injury which kept him out for the remainder of the game. Since acquiring Jimmy Butler, the Dubs have become a stronger unit and have won nine out of the last ten games.

On the flip note, the Hawks are still alive in the playoff race following a 134-102 win over the Hornets, which snapped their two-game skid. Atlanta are 6-4 in the last ten and takes sixth spot in the Eastern Conference. In their only meeting with the Dubs this season, Steve Kerr’s side had the last laugh.

Stephen Curry left the Warriors’ 117-114 win over the Raptors at Chase Center. During the third quarter, the veteran star limped to the locker room due to the pelvic contusion.

The 11-time All-Star underwent an MRI on Friday and as per the team’s report, Curry has been sidelined from the opener of Golden State’s six-game road trip. He will be re-evaluated on Monday.

Apart from Curry, Gary Payton II has been listed as questionable against the Hawks due to a knee injury.

For the Hawks, Caris LeVert (right knee soreness) and Trae Young (right Achilles tendinitis) have been listed as probable. Clint Capela (left fourth metacarpal ligament injury) also remains out.
