Girona will be without Bryan Gil and Ricard Artero due to injury concerns. Gil, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury last month. Left-back Miguel Gutierrez is also a major doubt after missing the recent defeat to Osasuna with an adductor issue. If he remains sidelined, Daley Blind is likely to fill in on the left side of defence.

Forward Chimy Avila is also expected to miss the rest of the campaign after sustaining a thigh injury in training. Left-back Ricardo Rodriguez is a doubt for Betis. As a result, Romain Perraud should keep his place at left-back.
