‘Get A Load Of This Guy’ – Tyreek Hill, Noah Lyles’ Fastest Man Alive Dispute Takes Another Turn

Tyreek Hill aka the Cheetah, is one of the fastest players to ever play the game of football. He is a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins and is one of the highest paid NFL athletes today. He started his NFL career after getting drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs as the 165th pick in the 2016 NFL draft. His biggest achievement so far was winning the Super Bowl with the Chiefs in 2019.

Hill had a tonne of success playing for the Chiefs. However, after he was traded to the Miami Dolphins, things have not been the same. Hill and the Dolphins were knocked out of the divisional round of the playoffs for two consecutive season. In 2024, the Dolphins missed the playoffs entirely which has led to some frustration for the wide receiver. Hill announced that he is quite literally done playing for the Dolphins by saying “I’m out,” in a postgame interview.

Now the narrative surrounding Hill is that he chased the bag (biggest money and contract possible) and cared more about getting paid than winning. However, Hill has shown that he is an elite wide receiver but it’s just that his team may not have the right amount of talent to get deep into the playoffs.

Hill has also been caught in multiple controversies and it looks like he’s been distracted to say the least. Hill’s comments have also led us to believe that he’s wanting to play somewhere else other than Miami, to focus on winning. We shall see what happens during the off-season.

Now that the Dolphins are no longer in playoff contention, Hill has been jawing against a Noah Lyles. What are they in a quarrel for? Let’s find out.

What Are Noah Lyles And Tyreek Hill Arguing about?

Noah Lyles aka the fastest man on the planet, wants to challenge Tyreek Hill for a race on the tracks. This all started when Tyreek Hill claimed that he can beat Lyles in a race. This led Lyles to respond by saying “When you’re ready to actually put some words down and you’re actually ready to race, see me, I’m right here… Your football season is over. You ain’t got no excuse now.”

Lyles recently competed in the men’s 60m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix meeting which happened in Boston on Sunday. He finished the race in 6.52 seconds and he celebrated his win by accepting the race challenge presented by Tyreek Hill. Lyles also pulled out his bib and showed it to the camera which said “Tyreek could never.”

Tyreek Hill responded to Lyles by saying “Get a load of this guy.”

Will Tyreek Hill Race Noah Lyles?

While Lyles is ready to race, Hill has remained quiet. In the NightCap Podcast, Lyles said “Tyreek is just chasing clout. If he really wanted to race people, he would’ve showed up like D.K. Metcalf.” Lyles continued “We can race… If he’s truly serious about it.”

Hill was a two-time Georgia State Track champion, back in high school and is known as the “Cheetah,” in the NFL for a reason. If the two decide to race someday, most still expect Noah Lyles to come out on top. Even though Hill is fast, Lyles is a professional track star and is also crowned as the fastest man on the planet.
