With just one day away from the beginning of the ESPN era, WWE will air its last episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Brock Lesnar will make yet another SmackDown appearance before his match against John Cena at Wrestlepalooza. This will be his third consecutive appearance on Friday Night SmackDown.

His first appearance ruined John Cena’s retirement from the SmackDown brand as he delivered two F5s to the latter and announced his match against him at Wrestlepalooza. His last visit turned out to be bad for John Cena’s biggest fan, R-Truth. He was the one to receive an F5 so brutal that Brock Lesnar tore his pants while delivering it. What Time is Friday Night SmackDown Tonight?

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is scheduled to air live at 8 pm ET / 7 pm CT / 5 pm PT on September 19, 2025. WWE will stream SmackDown live on USA Network inside the United States. Cody Rhodes will also address the crowd one last time before his match against Drew McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza tomorrow. Cody Rhodes already suffered an injury a few weeks back, owing to a Claymore from Drew McIntyre that sent him through the announcer’s table. He returned to WWE and saved Randy Orton from an ill-fated attack, ensuring he wouldn’t go through the same fate.

Sami Zayn vs. Carmelo Hayes, WWE United States Championship Match

After Sami Zayn successfully defended his WWE United States Championship against Rey Fenix, Carmelo Hayes met him backstage and asked him for a title match. Sami Zayn utilized Carmelo Hayes’ catchphrase Melo Don’t Miss and responded, “Alright, Melo, Don’t Miss.” Miz was seen having a disagreement with Carmelo Hayes over challenging for a singles title.

Prediction: Sami Zayn is speculated to retain his title. The Miz is sure to make interruptions during the match and might get the match disqualified. There is no way WWE would have Sami Zayn lose his title so early to Carmelo Hayes unless they want to give Carmelo Hayes a push as a solo wrestler.
