France Men’s Football Fixture for June: What Are the Upcoming Games for France National Football Team?

Abhinav Goel

France secured their place in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout win over Croatia.

France’s national football team is bracing for a packed international calendar, with crucial matches lined up in both the UEFA Nations League and FIFA World Cup qualifiers. France will head into the finals of UEFA Nations League 2025.

France manager Didier Deschamps and his men have had a dominating campaign this year. After losing only one game in the group stage and securing 13 points, France topped the Group 2 of the league to go to the knockouts.

France secured their place in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout win over Croatia. In the quarterfinals, France produced a superb recovery to fight back from a two-goal first-leg deficit to eliminate Croatia on penalties. With the quarterfinal tie locked at 2-2 on aggregate, the match went to penalties. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan emerged as the hero for France, making two crucial saves as Les Bleus triumphed 5-4.

With the tournament reaching its final stage, France will rely on their depth, experience, and tactical prowess to edge closer to a second Nations League title. The pivotal clash comes on Friday, June 5, when Didier Deschamps’ side face Spain in the UEFA Nations League semi-final in Stuttgart, Germany.

A victory in that match would set up a final against Portugal or Germany on June 9, while a loss would see them compete in the third-place playoff on the same day. Deschamps has already announced a 25-man squad for this all-important Final Four clash.
