The first Hungary Grand Prix attracted a huge crowd. Currently, the race is popular among Finnish visitors and locals who take up 10% of total visitors. Nelson Piquet is the first winner of the Hungary Grand Prix for Williams. Oscar Piastri is the defending winner of the race.

Piastri won his maiden race at the Hungary GP. The race is famous for delivering maiden wins of many drivers in Formula 1 racing. Lewis Hamilton is the most dominant driver on track. He is a 8-time-winner of the Hungary GP. Max Verstappen is the only other driver on the 2025 grid who has more than one win at this track.

The teams often go for a high downforce setup at the Hungaroring. However, the racetrack tends to bring forward monotonous racing with hardly any overtakes or exciting racing action.
