Race Results from today's Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix
The Monaco Grand Prix weekend comes to an end. Formula 1 was witness to yet another race in the principality without action. The Monaco Grand Prix 2025 was much more boring than the previous years. Formula 1 even brought in new rules to make Monaco a better race this year.
The race was chaotic to say none the least. The teams were trying to bet on a safety car mid-race. But, the lack of crash took away their only chance to turn things around. The new two-stop rule that Formula 1 introduced was simply unable to produce the desired effect. The top-10 and podium remained unchanged. The Monaco GP in Formula 1 today was also witness to many shenanigans from drivers.

The race was mostly well behaved throughout. There was no major crash throughout the session. Only one driver had a DNF by crashing out. Alpine’s Pierre Gasly went into the back of Yuki Tsunoda which took away his chance of finishing today.

Lando Norris started the race from and achieved a fine victory in Monaco. Norris was under pressure in the final laps of race. Charles Leclerc tried his best but he couldn’t overtake Norris. Oscar Piastri was absent from the fight for victory for throughout the race. Max Verstappen finsihed the race in fourth. He was also trying to change the results of the race before he made his mandatory second pitstop. Lewis Hamilton made up two places and finished in fifth after getting a grid penalty.
Hadjar finsihed in sixth place to claim his best finish in Formula 1. He was joined by teammate, Liam Lawson, who also claimed his best F1 results with an eighth place. Esteban Ocon’s seventh got his team good points from the weekend.

The Williams pair of Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz took ninth and tenth in the race. The duo were able to get the best out of the race by slowing down the cars behind them for pit-stops.
Mercedes were the worst suffering team in the race. The Silver Arrows could not bring in any points. They were stuck behind the duo of Williams throughout the race. Oliver Bearman’s 12th place finish did not help Haas after a ridiculous 10-place grid penalty.

Yuki Tsunoda finished second last in the race to end his treak of points finishes. Lance Stroll stayed out of points after starting from second last. Aston Martin’s race was in ruins after Fernando Alonso dropped out due to mechanical issues.
nhl I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in NHL, Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university’s Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
Message to Readers: I promise you one day you’ll see me managing operations on track with a Formula 1 team ; )
