Nottingham Forest defeated Brighton 7-0 in the Premier League in January.
Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest will face off in the FA Cup quarterfinals on Saturday, March 29. Forest, who beat Ipswich on penalties (5-4) in Round 5 of the competition, enters as one of the top contenders after Manchester City.
As they look to continue what has been a dream season, Brighton will be a strong hurdle to cross. Beating Newcastle in the Round 5, the Seagulls will be thriving on confidence coming into the contest.
Fabian Hurzeler is leading Brighton to a hopeful season as they trail by two points to fourth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League. Moreover, being unbeaten in their past seven games, Brighton is expected to put up a competitive fight.

In the 54th minute of Monday’s World Cup qualifying match between New Zealand and New Caledonia, Chris Wood was substituted. Recent injury updates from Nottingham confirm that Wood’s hip injury is not serious.
It is uncertain if Wood, their top goal scorer, will feature in the quarterfinals against Brighton. Aside from Wood, Forest’s manager has had most of his squad available throughout the season.
Nottingham Forest Predicted Lineup: Sels; Williams, Murillo, Milenkovic, Aina; Dominguez, Anderson; Hudson-Odoi, Gibbs-White, Elanga; *Wood.
Brighton & Hove Albion have had their share of injury problems this season. With a long list of players still pending to be back, Hurzeler will have to make do with the squad available.
Losing Igor Julio and James Milner in January and having Ferdi Kardioglu on the sidelines, Brighton has lacked depth in their midfield. Other than this, the absence of backup goalkeeper Jason Steele and Matt O’Riley is expected to remain in the FA Cup clash.
Brighton Predicted Lineup: Verbruggen; Estupinan, Van Hecke, Dunk, Veltman; Hinshelwood, Baleba; Mitoma, Pedro, Minteh; Welbeck.
