2. Ruben Amorim’s Gamble Pays off

United were dealt a big blow before the match with Joshua Zirkzee ruled out for the rest of the season after picking up a hamstring injury in the last match against Newcastle. As a result, Rasmus Hojlund was United’s only fit striker for the second leg. When Hojlund was replaced by Kobbie Mainoo, United had no recognised striker on the pitch.
