‘You Won’t See It Coming’ – Dana White Hints Towards A Potential Fight That Will Blow The Minds Of UFC Fans

Dana White is the current CEO for the UFC and the fans love him. White cares about what the fans want and he always listens to them. He has given us fans, some of the most memorable fights in UFC history. From Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz or Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier or Frank Shamrock vs Tito Ortiz, there have been a lot of memorable fights in the recent years and White made that possible.

White has climbed the ranks and made UFC of the most successful sport organizations in the world. Part of that is due to the White’s ability to create an anticipation for a fight and eventually setting it up. Recently White has again created a lot of excitement for the UFC fans when he promised us a great fight in the upcoming fall with no further details.

There are still many fights that us fans want to see and with White promising a fight, we can only imagine what that might be. Will we get Jon Jones to fight Tom Aspinall or Dricus Du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev or Chimaev vs. Alex Pereira? Let’s discuss some of the most anticipated fights that the fans want to see.

Let us look at some of the most anticipated fights for 2025 that might be have the one super fight that the UFC president Dana White was hinted at!

Ilia Topuria vs. Islam Makhachev

This is arguably the biggest anticipated fight and fans desperately want to see this. Topuria is ready to take on Makhachev, if given the chance. However, Islam does not think so. When a reported asked Islam if he wants to fight Topuria in 2025, he said “I’m tired of giving chance to small guys.” He immediately dismissed the idea of taking Ilia on for a fight and many believe that he’s just scared. Topuria has a flawless record of 16-0. He has not lost a fight yet and even knocked out the likes of Max Holloway, just a couple of months ago. This is number one on our list.

Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall

After Jones announced that he may hang around in the UFC a bit longer, there was an immediate though on our mind. Why not fight Tom? He is definitely the front runner and we do not know what Aspinall’s full potential looks like. This could lead to an exciting match if it happens. Jones vs Aspinall would definitely be one of the biggest fights to ever take place.

Jon Jones vs. Alex Pereira

Another fight that is highly anticipated, is Poatan taking on Jon Jones for the UFC heavyweight title. Alex Pereira is already the light heavyweight champion of the UFC and is wanting something different. Whereas, Jones wants to fight already established and dangerous fighters. Two champions going head-to-head, will be a treat for the UFC fans.

Khamzat Chimaev vs. Dricus Du Plessis

Du Plessis is going to defend his title again in UFC 312 against Sean Strickland. However, what fans want is Du Plessis going against the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev. We have not seen Khamzat since October of 2024. He dominated his last fight against Robert Whittaker after making him tap out in the very first round. If the fight happens between Plessis and Chimaev takes place, it would most certainly be a treat.

There are many more fights that fans want to see but these are arguably the biggest anticipated fights for 2025. We will have to wait till the fall arrives to see what exactly Dana White was promising us with. Till then, enjoy watching UFC 312!
