Dana White Gives Two Word Reaction To Potential Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira Superfight

Zaid Quraishi

The UFC rumor mill never stops churning, and fight fans eat up every single bit of speculation that comes their way. Social media explodes whenever two big names get mentioned in the same sentence, especially when there’s a historic event involved. Dana White has seen it all before though. The UFC president has spent decades dealing with wild rumors, fan theories, and wishful thinking from the MMA community. Sometimes he plays along with the hype, and other times he shuts things down fast.

This time around, White wasn’t in the mood to let rumors simmer and build momentum. When questions started flying about a potential superfight at UFC White House, the boss dropped the hammer that left no room for doubt. The Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira superfight rumors got shut down hard with just 2 words from the UFC CEO.

Dana White Throws Cold Water On Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira Superfight Talk

White’s dismissal shouldn’t shock anyone who’s been paying attention to his recent comments about Jon Jones. The UFC president has been brutally honest about his trust issues with the heavyweight champion. Despite Jones being arguably the greatest fighter of all time, White has openly questioned whether he can rely on him for major events. The boss even put odds on Jones fighting at the White House card at “a billion-to-one,” which is basically his way of saying don’t hold your breath. When asked about the rumors of this potential superfight, this is what he said via Nashar MMA:

“Total Bullsh*t”

Alex Pereira had recently expressed interest in fighting at the UFC White House event. Jones has also stated his desire to compete at the card. Both fighters talking about it publicly naturally led fans to connect the dots. But White made it crystal clear that no discussions about fights for the White House event have even begun yet. Those conversations won’t start until early 2026, meaning everything circulating online right now is pure speculation. White confirmed that absolutely nothing is finalized for anyone, despite multiple fighters publicly campaigning for spots on the card.

The UFC plans to hold the event on the South Lawn on June 14, 2026. It’s scheduled to coincide with President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and America’s 250th anniversary of independence. White has already revealed some incredible details about how the event will work. Fighters will walk out from the Oval Office, and official weigh-ins will take place at the Lincoln Memorial. It’s the kind of spectacle that only the UFC could pull off!
