Dan Hardy Makes Bold Prediction Ahead Of Potential Jack Della Maddalena vs Islam Makhachev Showdown!

UFC analyst hints at surprising outcome if Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev clash for the title!

Former UFC welterweight contender and renowned analyst Dan Hardy has never been one to shy away from bold predictions. The British striker, who once challenged Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title back in 2010, has built a reputation for his insightful breakdown of fights and fighters.

Hardy’s keen eye for technical details and strategic nuances has made him one of the most respected voices in MMA analysis today. And now he is weighing in on what could be the biggest UFC welterweight title fight of the year.

Dan Hardy Believes In Jack Della Maddalena’s Potential

In a surprising take that’s turning heads across the MMA community, Hardy has declared that Jack Della Maddalena has what it takes to defend his newly acquired welterweight crown against lightweight king Islam Makhachev.

“I don’t think he [Della Maddalena] is going to lose to Makhachev. He looked very sharp against Belal and i wonder what Makhachev would look like as a welterweight,” Hardy said via Submission Radio.

Hardy believes Della Maddalena’s footwork and angle management may be key factors that could frustrate Makhachev’s grappling-heavy approach. But, Hardy isn’t dismissing Makhachev’s skills by any means. The lightweight champion has dominated his division with a suffocating grappling style reminiscent of his mentor Khabib Nurmagomedov. But Hardy sees potential flaws that Della Maddalena could exploit. Moreover, the weight jump os 15 pounds would be a new territory for Makhachev, and no one would know definitively whether that would work in his favor or not.

The potential superfight would certainly draw massive attention from fans worldwide. Makhachev attempting to become a two-division champion would surpass the achievement of his teammate Nurmagomedov, while Della Maddalena would have the chance to cement himself as an elite champion by turning back such a formidable challenger. With the UFC reportedly interested in booking this matchup for later this year, Hardy’s prediction has added another layer of intrigue to an already fascinating stylistic clash.

Whether Hardy’s bold prediction comes true remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain. A showdown between Della Maddalena and Makhachev would answer plenty of questions about both fighters’ legacies.
