Rationale and Analysis

Javonte Williams over 9.5 receiving yards is a great bet as he’s had 5 games over 10 receiving yards this season, with the Cowboys utilizing his dual-threat ability and Prescott looking for him as a target, if their receivers are heavily covered. The Chiefs rank 11th on passing defense and will try to contain the Cowboys’ No. 3 ranked total offense by covering their receivers like CeeDee Lamb, which could leave Williams wide open to gain yardage.

Dak Prescott to throw over 34.5 passing attempts is a safe bet as he’s had 29 pass attempts or more in almost every game expect for one. The Cowboys are the No.1 passing team in the NFL currently, and average 258.7 yards a game. They rely heavily on their quarterback Dak Prescott to make plays, and if the Cowboys trail early, look for Prescott to take matter into his own hands and potentially cross 34.5 attempts with ease.

Despite a dip in his pass accuracy, the Chiefs have continued to rely on Mahomes to win games and gain yardage. In the last five games Mahomes has at least thrown 34 or more passing attempts, with 45 and 46 attempts in the last two games against Denver and Indiana. While his huge volume has resulted in multiple interceptions this season, the Chiefs continue to rely on him to take them over the hump.

We expect the Chiefs to win the game against the Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys have been outstanding on the offense, but their defense is where they lack heavy, ranking 30th overall.
