NFL 2026–27 Jacksonville Jaguars Regular Season Over/under Odds for Total Wins – Best Early Odds and Predictions for 2026–27 NFL Season

Devavrat Kulkarni

Last season, the Jacksonville Jaguars got off to a strong start, winning 4 of their first 5 games before hitting a minor slump. At the end of Week 10, the Jaguars were 5-4, but then went on an 8-game winning streak to close out the season with a 13-4 record.

During the 2025 offseason, the Jaguars made a head coaching change as former Buccaneers’ OC Liam Coen replaced Doug Pederson. This change paid dividends as Jacksonville went from winning just 4 games the previous season to 13 in 2025-26 on its way to clinching the AFC South.

On offense, the Jaguars were just outside the top 5 in scoring, putting up a little under 28 points per game. Another positive of the season was their +13 turnover differential, which was third in the league. Their 22 interceptions were just 1 behind the Bears, who led the league with 23 picks.

Defensively, Jacksonville did well to restrict the opposition to under 20 points per game, which was a major reason for winning 13 games. Despite the Colts getting off to a hot start last season, the Jaguars swept them and won 5 of their 6 divisional games, handing them a massive boost for the divisional crown.

Jacksonville Jaguars Total Wins Over/Under Odds for 2026-27 Regular Season

In spite of finishing the previous season with 13 wins and just 4 losses, the Jacksonville Jaguars are not favored to win more than 9 games once again in the upcoming 2026-27 NFL season, as per the odds via DraftKings

The table below shows the Over/Under for the Jaguars’ total wins in the upcoming regular season.

Over 9.5+115
Under 9.5-140

Understanding how to bet on NFL games is crucial for maximizing the value of our expert picks and making informed wagers each week.

Last season, Jacksonville did well to win 13 games even though the roster had some weaknesses. Brian Thomas Jr. underperformed at receiver, and rookie Travis Hunter was sidelined after just 7 games. Travis Etienne Jr. carried the bulk of the offensive load, but he has left Duval County for pastures new.

The running back room seems to have taken a step back, while the defense has also lost a couple of key starters. These are all signs that point to the Jaguars’ potential struggle for the upcoming season.

One thing that is in favor of Jacksonville is its strength of schedule, which ranks 22nd in the league for the 2026-27 NFL season. In fact, here is the list of the Jaguars’ opponents for the new season.

  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • New England Patriots
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Commanders
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Denver Broncos
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Chicago Bears

The Texans should provide the toughest matchup within the division, but if the Colts can overcome their shocking downfall from last season, they could also be tricky opponents.

Apart from the Texans, the Jaguars are set to play against only 5 other teams that made it to the postseason in 2025-26. Moreover, the Ravens, Bengals, and Cowboys could all be tricky opponents as well, even though they missed the playoffs the previous season.

That said, the Jaguars should have an easier time against teams such as the Titans, Browns, and Giants based purely on their records from last season.

Early prediction: Jaguars 2026-27 regular season record: 10-7

Jacksonville Jaguars Major Injuries and Concerns going into 2026-27 NFL Season

Injuries

The biggest concern for the Jacksonville Jaguars with respect to monitoring injuries is that of their two-way player, Travis Hunter. The 22-year-old, who is set to enter his second year in the NFL, suffered an ACL injury that kept him out for the season after just 7 games.

Hunter is a key player for the Jaguars as his two-way ability gives Jacksonville flexibility on both sides of the ball. Additionally, safety Caleb Ransaw missed his rookie season after suffering a toe injury during training camp in 2025. As per the latest reports, his rehab from surgery is complete, and he is expected to be fully healthy by training camp.

Rookie linebacker Jalen McLeod suffered an ankle injury and missed his first season as well. Although his 21-day window for return was opened, McLeod was unable to recover, so his status in the offseason will be monitored further.

Roster concerns

The Jaguars have a few glaring holes they need to fill on their roster during this offseason. Their top priority lies in adding quality at the linebacker and secondary positions. Linebacker Devin Lloyd, corner Greg Newsome II, and safety Andrew Wingard all left in free agency, leaving the defense in a weakened state. Additionally, there is a need to strengthen the defensive line as well.

On offense, the Jaguars lost a key player in Travis Etienne Jr. in free agency, and while they have signed Chris Rodriguez Jr. as his replacement, it may not be enough. Jacksonville has added Jakobi Meyers at wide receiver, which is a great signing, but with Brian Thomas Jr. still not performing up to the mark and Travis Hunter’s role set to be reduced on offense, the Jaguars may need to look for additional help at the position.

Jacksonville Jaguars NFL 2026-27 Draft Picks and how they can have an impact on the Total Over/Under Wins Odds

The 2026 NFL draft will be bittersweet for the Jacksonville Jaguars. That is because they have a total of 11 draft picks this year, but not a single pick in the first round. During the 2025 NFL draft, the Jaguars traded up to draft Travis Hunter and, in doing so, handed over their first-round pick of this year to the Cleveland Browns.

Thus, the Jaguars will be on the clock for the first time in the second round with overall pick number 56. They will then select three times in round 3, giving them 4 picks inside the top 100. Not having a first-round pick will be a major disadvantage, especially when the team has multiple needs. However, with 11 selections, there is plenty of scope to add depth all over the roster. They could also use some of those picks to trade up. In short, the Jaguars are in a good position when it comes to the draft, and if they are able to get a decent haul of players, it may lead to an additional win or two.
