Back in his prime, McGregor had this weird ability to call exactly how his fights would end, and he was right way more often than he should have been.

His prediction track record is actually pretty impressive when fans look at the numbers. The man predicted he would stop Jose Aldo in the first round, then did it in just 13 seconds at UFC 194. He called his first-round knockout of Dustin Poirier at UFC 178. He nailed his prediction about finishing Eddie Alvarez in two rounds to win the lightweight title.

Fourteen of his nineteen knockout wins came in the first round, so when he says he will get Chandler early, it’s not just trash talk. The guy has serious power in his left hand, and Chandler has been stopped by strikes five times in his career. At 39 years old and coming off a loss to Paddy Pimblett, Chandler might be at the perfect stage of his career to walk into one of McGregor’s famous counter punches.
