Will Paul Heyman turn heel on Roman Reigns to repay CM Punk's Favor?

CM Punk, one of the legends of modern-day wrestling is known for getting the crowd engaged. The Cult of Personality has a huge fan base supporting him across the world. He has achieved almost everything he wanted in his career. We however say almost because there was one thing that has eluded CM Punk in his otherwise illustrious career. It was his dream of main-eventing WrestleMania.

CM Punk every ounce of his effort into his dream but always fell short. He missed WrestleMania XL due to an injury last year. We wanted to win the 2025 Royal Rumble but that didn’t happen. He needed to win the Elimination Chamber to Main Event WrestleMania but Seth Rollins cost him his dream again. CM Punk kept knocking on the door when it closed on his face and fate finally took a wild turn.

CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins have been a chaotic trio for a long time now. They cost each other at the 2025 Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber and their never-ending brawls have been out of hand for some time now. The officials announced a triple threat between them and asked them to sign a contract for their match at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins had a war of words while signing the contract.

CM Punk was taking his time to read the contract and check if he got to close WrestleMania when Paul Heyman gave him the good news. He announced that Punk gets to live his dream of all dreams and that he would Main Event WrestleMania. A moment that saw Best in the World in tears of Joy. The story didn’t end here as Roman Reigns joked One man’s dream is another man’s favor implying Punk’s favor is paid now.

Seth Rollins lashed out at Roman Reigns shouting, CM Punk doesn’t deserve to Main Event WrestleMania. He claimed WrestleMania is sacred for him and Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are at fault for making CM Punk a Main Eventer at WrestleMania. CM Punk thanked the WWE Universe and his fans for chanting his name for ten years while rubbing it in Seth’s wound.

Roman Reigns jumped into the mix asking CM Punk to thank him and not his fans. He claimed it is because of him that CM Punk is part of the Main Event. He should thank and acknowledge the OTC. CM Punk sarcastically thanked The OTC taking his many names like holder of the Ulafala, Big Dog, Tribal Chief.

CM Punk mocked Roman Reigns stating thank you for gracing him with his presence and allowing him to stand in the ring with him. He signed the contract amongst the “You deserve it” chants from the crowd confirming his name for WrestleMania Main Event. CM Punk however shocked the world when he said “That’s not the favor he owed”.
