CM Punk and AJ Lee defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in the most chaotic couple’s match of all time. A match that made CM Punk put Becky Lynch into a Sharpshooter Submission move, and forced Seth Rollins to attack AJ Lee. AJ Lee’s in-ring return proved to be fruitful for her and CM Punk. She countered a Man-Handle Slam into a Black Widow and forced Becky Lynch to tap out.

AJ Lee’s return to WWE with a victory by forcing the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion to tap out was, however, not the highlight of the match. There were moments where the boundaries of a couple’s match became blurred. In a normal couple’s match, the male wrestler fights with the male wrestler and the female fights with her counterpart, but that wasn’t the case tonight.

While Becky Lynch has already attacked many times, tonight proved to be the limit for him as well. Seth Rollins, however, was the first to break the rule by laying hands on AJ Lee. Becky Lynch may have also gotten under CM Punk’s skin, prompting him to reach his limit and apply a Sharpshooter on her.

CM Punk Finally Gets Seth Rollins’ Number With AJ Lee’s Entry

AJ Lee’s entry might have proved to be a boon for Seth Rollins, who seemed to have no answers for Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch’s entry to the Vision made it even tougher for CM Punk to get past Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch turned into a human shield for Seth Rollins, which is when AJ Lee’s entry allowed CM Punk to lay hands on Seth Rollins, and he grabbed it with both hands.

Both these couples put the other through hell during the match, and we witnessed some incredible moves. It was a pendulum of a match that shifted from one team to another like a ping-pong ball. Becky Lynch was closing the match with Man-Handle Slam, but AJ Lee countered it with a Black Widow.
