Clash In Paris: Seth Rollins Retains The World Heavyweight Championship With Help of His Wife, Becky Lynch

Behind every successful man there is a great woman. This proved true again tonight when Seth Rollins retained his World Heavyweight Championship in an all but lost match. Seth Rollins was trying to end CM Punk’s career by Stomping him when his neck was stuck in a chair. CM Punk, however, managed to remove his neck from the chair, and Seth Rollins injured his leg.

CM Punk then delivered a Go to Sleep to Seth Rollins and set up for a second GTS when Becky Lynch entered the ring and delivered a Low Blow to Seth Rollins. As this was a no-disqualification match, Seth Rollins got the opportunity to stomp CM Punk’s head on the chair. He pinned CM Punk to retain his title in a Fatal Four-way and once again proved that he always has a backup plan.

Seth Rollins’ Alliance Was Busted, Still He Managed to Retain His Title

Seth Rollins lost his advantage when Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker brutally assaulted Roman Reigns and attacked Jey Uso, who came to the aid of his brother. Raw GM Adam Pearce asked them to leave the building and warned them that if they were seen anywhere near the premises, they would be suspended indefinitely without pay. Jey Uso entered the ring with an injured midsection and a clear disadvantage.

Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight faced each other in a Fatal Four-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris. While all superstars took turns to dominate the match, Seth Rollins had a clear disadvantage as Jey Uso, LA Knight, and CM Punk ganged up on him. LA Knight had a clear opportunity, but it busted while trying to deliver an Elbow to Seth Rollins on the announce table.

CM Punk delivered a GTS to Jey Uso and went for the pin, but Seth Rollins delivered a Stomp to Punk to break the count and attempt the pin. Seth Rollins then delivered a Stomp to Jey Uso and LA Knight outside the ring to neutralize their interruption. He then turned his attention to CM Punk and almost lost the match due to his obsession with CM Punk, but Becky Lynch saved the day for him.
