Cinco de Mayo Weekend Boxing Fest 2025: Is This the Greatest Boxing Card of the Year?

Cinco De Mayo is an annual celebration that will be held on May 5th, 2025. It is primarily celebrated to remember Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire in 1862. The celebration involves food, parades, music, folklore dancing, and many more events. However, the weekend will also be important for Boxing as we have some of the biggest stars competing on the Cinco De Mayo weekend.

We’re talking about Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, Teofimo Lopez, Canelo Alvarez, and Naoya Inoue, all fighting over the weekend at various places, across New York, Riyadh, and Las Vegas.

So today we’ll talk about all the fights that will happen through out the Cinco De Mayo weekend. Let’s get right into it.

List of Bouts Happening During the Cinco de Mayo Weekend

New York

To start off the weekend we’ll see Ryan Garcia will take on Rolly Romero. The night will also feature Devin Haney vs Jose Ramirez, and Teofimo Lopez vs Arnold Barboza Jr. All of these bouts will take place at Times Square, New York, on May 2nd, 2025.

Riyadh

On May 3rd, 2025, we’ll see Canelo Alvarez take on William Scull at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Las Vegas

To finish off the weekend, we’ll see Naoya Inoue vs Ramon Cardenas which will take place at Las Vegas, Nevada on May 4th, 2025.
