It’s hard to believe, but week one of the new NFL regular season is nearly in the books. The final game left to play is a Monday Night Football (MNF) game between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings.
The Bears are heading into this all-important divisional game with a completely revamped O-line that has added the likes of All-Pro and Super Bowl winner Joe Thuney, as well as Jonah Jackson, to bolster the interior line. New head coach Ben Johnson will be looking to bring some of the offense from his Detroit Lions days as he looks to get the most out of Caleb Williams in his second year.
On the other side of the field, we have the Minnesota Vikings, who have also undergone a few changes in the offseason. The most important of which was letting Sam Darnold walk in free agency despite his resurgence last season. Now, all eyes will be on J.J. McCarthy and how he gets his career underway after missing out on his rookie season due to injury.
The NFL officially released their game previews for Week 1.

This MNF game between the two NFC North rivals will be crucial if both teams are in the playoff hunt a few weeks into the season from now. The Bears will be hoping to get over the line with home-field advantage, as well as having the advantage of not facing Jordan Adisson, who has been suspended for the first 3 weeks.

nfl I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
