Aaron Rodgers Did Not Hold Back to Call Out the Jets

After beating the Jets, Aaron Rodgers did not hold back making his post-game comment. When asked about if he was happy beating Jets head coach Aaron Glenn, Rodgers replied, “I was happy to beat everybody associated with the Jets,” taking a very cold jab at his former organization.

Rodger’ tenure with the Jets ended abruptly after a tumultuous two years. Acquired in 2023 as the franchise’s supposed savior. However, he suffered a torn Achilles in his debut, and the 2024 season was a 5-12 disaster. New coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey were the ones who ultimately decided to move Aaron Rodgers, despite what the 4x MVP’s preferences were.

Despite downplaying the revenge narrative prior to the game, his 244 yards, 4 TDs, and post-game remarks revealed lingering resentment still, which ultimately led the Steelers to win the contest. No matter the situation, one thing’s clear; Aaron Rodgers is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
